Vintage Jaques Croquet Set with Boxwood Mallets

Vintage John Jaques Croquet set. A good quality Jaques croquet set in original pine box with Jaques’ name painted onto the front and lid. It is with four box wood mallets with guide lines on the tops of the heads and octagonal handles with cord grips. To complete the set there are four colored wooden balls in the standard croquet colors, six bent metal hoops and one winning post with peg clip (the colored bands on the post indicating the order of play). There are also some boundary yard line pegs for marking the yard lines on a croquet court and four colored spring croquet ball markers used for marking the hoops the balls have passed through. The lid has a Jaques paper label on the inside. A great set for anybodies garden.
