An ALCO ‘FIREFLY’ Model Steam Generator Set, British, Mid-20th century,
serial no. 58611, for battery recharging, the steam generator complete in original box with handle, makers plaque to the inside lid, the outside of boiler re-fabricated,

boiler 32in (81cm) high, 14in (35.5cm) diameter

This steam generator was made to power the B2. It generated power when the pedal generator was not available and was capable of recharging the set’s power source as well as operating the set itself.
